I was surprised last year to find out I had a family line going back to Germany! Lucinda Hiers is my gg grandmother. She married William Harris August 1837. Lucinda is the daughter of Joseph Hiers and Martha Patsy Strickland.
There is a book on the family that a ‘kinda’ cousin showed to me.
